Yoga for Athletes

This yoga series is for runners, climbers, bikers, fitness lovers and sports enthusiasts. We will meet for three sessions that connect yoga to the sport you love. The classes take place over three Sunday afternoons in January/February 2020.
Session 1: Dynamic yoga (19 January 2020)
Athletes coming from very active sports may find it difficult to adjust to the more static poses of yoga. This first session introduces yoga in a dynamic way, combining movement with traditional yoga poses.
Session 2: Strength and flexibility (26 January 2020)
Our second session focuses on building strength with targeted sequences for the core, legs, and arms. The second half of the class takes participants into deep stretches to release muscle tension.
Session 3: Restoration (2 February 2020)
This gentler session takes the group into more relaxed and restorative poses to aid in regeneration between heavy training intervals.
Registration and pricing
The cost for the series is 75 CHF. You can reserve and pay via our online booking system. Group size is limited to 10 participants so please book early.
Rebekkah is a trail running enthusiast, yoga practitioner and teacher, and a fitness lover in general.
She completed her RYT 200 yoga teacher training with Mariza Smith in 2018 and is the founder and manager of Satya Yoga.
Rebekkah enjoys teaching students of all levels and combining her love of yoga with other sports.
